RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR VISITORS
„Līvu Akvaparks“ at Viestura iela 24, Jūrmala, that belongs to Ltd „Akvaparks“, Reg. No 40003508890, is a multi-functional water theme park whose usage requires person's physical effort and activity. The visitor shall assess their physical fitness and swimming skills prior to the visit to the waterpark. The sideshows are elaborated by scientists and their correct usage and exploitation do not endanger person's life and health.
The rules and regulations for the waterpark visitors shall be kept by all visitors regardless of their age. They are written in three languages on posters and located in the territory of the waterpark, in the entrance-hall and published on the home page www.akvaparks.lv. Should a visitor suffer damage or cause damage to the third party due to the negligence of the present rules and regulations, or by ignoring the waterpark staff instructions, Ltd „Akvaparks“ shall not take the responsibility.
Trained life guards supervise visitor's activities in the waterpark. Prior to the conclusion of the contract on receiving the service (ticket purchase), the visitor shall carefully read these rules and regulations and keep them during the service.
The present rules and regulations are supplemented by the conditions, guidelines and instructions for the particular sideshows, and the visitor undertakes to comply with them.
I. ENTRY INTO WATERPARK
1. The ticket purchase confirms that the visitor has acquainted themselves with the regulations of the establishment and undertakes to keep them.
2. The visit shall be timed as soon as the visitor receives an electronic bracelet (a chip) and registers themselves at the entrance. At the exit of the waterpark the visitor shall register once again and upon the registration the time that the visitor has spent in the waterpark shall be stated. Upon the exit from the waterpark the visitor shall pay extra charge for exceeding the time limit, if any, according to the price list, determined by Ltd „Akvaparks“.
3. Children under 14 may only visit the waterpark in the company of parents or adults, and they shall be held under strict supervision of these people. The adults shall be at least 18 years old and they shall take responsibility for those children's health, behaviour and observation of these rules and regulations, who are placed in their charge.
4. The facilitators shall receive the instruction in the rules and regulations for visitors on request from the representative of the waterpark rescue team. The facilitators shall take responsibility for all group members in compliance with these rules and regulations.
5. Due to the overload of the waterpark, the waterpark administration is entitled to interrupt the entry of visitors until there are vacancies available again.
6. Visitors shall not be admitted to the waterpark 90 minutes before closing it.
7. Ltd „Akvaparks“ administration may change the sideshow offer at any time without prior warning. In such cases the discounts on entrance fees shall not be applied.
II. EXCEPTIONS TO VISITING WATERPARK
1. The waterpark is not appropriate for visiting by and there is strict prohibition against visiting it by:
1. People, running a fever, having conjunctivitis, skin diseases, or other contagious diseases, with open wounds, bandages or other ailments that threaten the visitor's life and health or that of other visitors;
2. People with a poor state of health (cardiovascular diseases, rhinitis, head traumas, etc.);
3. People under the influence;
4. Animals;
5. People without the electronic bracelet (the chip).
2. A person shall be prohibited from visiting the waterpark if their visit can endanger the order, security or sanitary condition of the waterpark and/or whose behaviour contradicts the moral do's and don'ts or the conventionalities.
3. The visitor who does not keep theses rules and regulations, caution signs and notices in the waterpark, lifeguards' reprimands, the waterpark staff instructions on the observation of these rules and regulations may be evicted from the waterpark without returning back the paid-up entrance fee.
III. USAGE OF WATERPARK
1. By the help of the electronic bracelet (chip) in the territory of „Līvu Akvaparks“ the visitor can:
1.1 Open/close one locker in the locker room, pay for the services, receive information about the number of visitor's locker, the duration of their stay in the territory of the waterpark and the spent virtual credit.
1.2 The visitor may use the bracelet (chip) to settle the payments in bars and restaurants, or for other paid services. At the entrance the cashier shall programme the virtual credit in the amount of LVL 25.00 in the adults' bracelet (chip), within the framework of which the visitor may spend money on services. Should the visitor expend this credit, they shall disburse the whole money spent at the exit cash desks. Children's bracelet shall not have this service available. Should any uncertainties arise about the usage of bracelets, one shall immediately address the issue to the cashier in the locker rooms.
2. In winter season the outdoor clothes and footwear shall be left in the cloak-room, receiving a number tag in return.
3. At the request of the waterpark staff, the visitor shall present a personal document or other documents, proving that the visitor is entitled to any of the discounts.
4. The visitor may stay in the waterpark, wearing swimming trunks, a swimming costume or beachwear, in slippers or bare-footed.
5. It is not allowed to stay in the waterpark, wearing swimming trunks or swimming costumes with exposed zips, buckles, rivets, and ornaments made from metal and glass/glassy materials.
6. Glasses shall be fastened by straps.
7. Before entry into the sideshow area of the waterpark the visitor shall take a shower and cross the foot disinfection baths.
8. For safety purposes no glassware shall be brought into the waterpark.
9. Changing and denuding are only allowed in the places, meant for this purpose - in the cubicles.
10. In some cases, sliding down the pipes in nylon swimming suits and swimming trunks can do damage to them.
11. Incorrect use of the water sideshow - ice-runs can result in falling out of the ice-run, blows, tumbles, kicks, snags, etc.
12. The visitor undertakes to observe the rules of each particular sideshow and the special notices that are located near the start and finish of each sideshow.
13. The sideshows, saunas, swimming-pools, restaurants and bars of the waterpark shall be vacated 15 minutes before the closing hours of the waterpark.
14. Taking into account that Ltd „Akvaparks“ does not take in storage visitor's belongings but only gives the lockers in visitor's charge, Ltd „Akvaparks“ shall not carry responsibility for the damage, elimination and disappearance of the clothes, documents, mobile phones, valuables and other belongings, left in the territory of the waterpark, the cloak-room and the lockers.
15. Ltd „Akvaparks“ shall not take on responsibility for the damage and losses incurred as a result of accidents, traumas and other reasons that are the consequences of the waterpark visitor's negligence and non-compliance with these rules and regulations, including the disregard for the waterpark staff instructions.
16. Ltd „Akvaparks“ shall not assume responsibility for the damage and losses caused to the waterpark visitor in the territory of the waterpark should the damage and losses be incurred by the action of the third party or other circumstances which do not hold Ltd „Akvaparks“ responsible for it in compliance with these rules and the laws and regulations.
17. In the case of damage, done to health and/or belongings, the waterpark visitor shall immediately turn to the nearest lifeguard in order to establish the place, time and circumstances of the accident, and, if necessary, to render first aid and register it in the Ltd „Akvaparks“accident/medical aid log-book. In the case of the non-compliance with the above-mentioned provision, no waterpark visitor's claims shall be reviewed and met.
18. The visitor shall be responsible for all damages and losses, caused to Ltd „Akvaparks“ or the third party.
19. A child under six, being in water, shall be all the time accompanied by at least one adult within an easy reach of a hand. This requirement shall also refer to the groups of children. The penalty for the non-compliance with this requirement shall be LVL25.00 (twenty five lat).
20. Every waterpark employee is entitled to give instructions to visitors regarding the observance of these rules, whereas the visitors shall comply with theses instructions.
21. Visitors are only entitled to use the lockers during their visit. After the visit the lockers shall be opened and vacated from the belongings there.
22. Food and drinks shall be only used in the places where it is appropriate.
23. WC and locker rooms shall be used according to the anatomical and biological sex, and not the acquired one.
24. The locker rooms shall be used for changing only. Any other activities, not related to changing, including doing the laundry or dyeing one's hair, are prohibited.
25. The swimming accessories, taken along, shall be presented to the waterpark employee and they shall be used with waterpark employee's permission only.
26. Garbage shall be put into the garbage bins.
IV. IT IS PROHIBITED IN THE TERRITORY OF WATERPARK
1. To shout, to whistle, or to call for help without need in order not to delude the lifeguards, to run (the visitor can sustain an injury by slipping), to push other visitors;
2. To use the waterpark in inappropriate clothing, for example, in underwear. Children under 3 or people with incontinence may only visit the waterpark in water-tight diaper.
3. To jump into the swimming-pools from the sides, to run along of the sides of the swimming-pools and to jump into the swimming-pool, as well as to slide along the ice-runs and pipes head foremost.
4. To spit on the floor and in water, and to satisfy nature’s needs outside WC. The penalty for the non-observance of this prohibition, as well as for peeing children outside WC, shall be LVL 10 (ten lat).
5. To swim in the pipe brake action pools, and, after sliding down the pipe, to stay in the break action lanes and pools;
6. To climb the pipes and rails;
7. To use the sideshows, saunas and swimming-pools under the influence. The rescue team is entitled to demand the alcohol concentration test and to evict the visitor under the influence (permissible norm - 0.5 per mille) from the waterpark without disbursing the entrance fee;
8. To use the sideshows by pregnant women;
9. To ignore the usage instructions for pipes and other sideshows (in case of uncertainties, one shall turn to the lifeguards), the notices about the depth of the swimming-pools;
10. For security purposes it is prohibited to use the pipes and sideshows, while wearing rings, watches, ear-rings, chains, etc.
11. For people who cannot swim to stay in the waterpark without "muffs" or life vests;
12. To leave children under 14 without the supervision of adults;
13. To use spirits if you are under 18;
14. To stay in the „SPA/VIP“ area without parents' presence if you are under 14;
15. To use non-operating sideshows;
16. To pour water or other liquids on electric appliances in the premises of the waterpark;
17. To enter the premises that are only intended for the waterpark staff and not for the waterpark visitors;
18. To smoke. The penalty for the non-compliance with this prohibition shall be LVL25.00 (twenty five lat).
19. For individual groups of people - to use a certain part of the waterpark in the way that restricts other visitors or inhibits them to use this part;
20. To use food and drinks in the locker-rooms;
21. To use computers, cameras, video cameras and appliances, containing them, in the premises, locker rooms and showers of the waterpark;
22. To socialize with the waterpark staff in the way that inhibits them to exercise their functions, or to inhibit the fulfilment of the waterpark staff responsibilities in any other way;
23. To use chewing-gum;
24. To dive and to stay underwater for a long time;
25. To hold one’s breath for the purposes of competition.
V. VISITOR'S RESPONSIBILITY
1. It is prohibited to take along food and drinks into the waterpark. A penalty in the amount of LVL 50.00 (fifty lat) shall be paid for bringing glassware into the waterpark, and the eviction from the waterpark without returning the entrance fee is stipulated.
2. In the case of losing the electronic bracelet, the penalty is LVL 30.00 (thirty lat), the same for children - LVL 7.00 (seven lat). In the case of losing a cloak-room number tag, the penalty is LVL 5.00 (five lat), in the case of losing a mechanic key of the locker - LVL 2.00 (two lat).
