Why is it not recommended to swim in shorts with pockets?

There are different reasons for this.

First of all, shorts are more related to one of the types of beachwear, rather than being a bathing suit.

    However, there are more weighty reasons:

 - people very often forget in their pockets of all sorts of things (money, phones, watches)

 - in the pockets, as often it can be forgotten what is a small trash (seeds, sand, paper), which when swimming easily fall into the water, and pollute the Aquapark.

 - Many models of shorts except pockets have also different kinds of metal rivets, zippers, etc., which can damage the coating of the slides, and injure other vacationers.
